Magnolia Proposal

From Him:

My fiancé’s best friend of 18 years lives in Waco so I stole her number from my fiancé’s phone and contacted her to let her know my plan for the proposal. Our birthday is only 17 hours apart! (Same year, only 1 day apart). So, I planned a birthday trip to Magnolia Silos (Her favorite because we love watching Fixer Upper on our weekends off together). Her best friend brought her camera and hid in the crowd of people. I asked my fiancé to stand with me in front of the silos so that we could find someone to take our picture. Right when she was about to ask someone, I dropped to one knee and asked my best friend to marry me. Her best friend caught it all on camera and she was even happier to see it was her taking our pictures. She loved every second of the proposal which meant the world to me. From her favorite place (Magnolia), to her best friend, to getting engaged to me, she thought it was perfect. So happy to be able to spend the rest of our lives together.

From Her:

Erik and I are a day apart which honestly I feel like is why we are so much alike. We both love Fixer Upper so he planned a trip to Waco to see the silos for our birthday weekend! Not much gets past me so I have to give him props for this one. He pretended to try to flag someone down to take a picture of us and got down on one knee asking me to marry him. Brownie points for his planning skills, he had my best friend since second grade hiding captured every moment. I am so lucky to be marrying someone who cares so much about me and loves me more than life itself.
