COVID-19 Couldn’t Stop this Darling Engagement Shoot

This darling engagement shoot from T Walker Photography was bound to stop hearts, even if COVID rearranged a few plans. Caitlin and Jacob were supposed to celebrate their engagement with the oh-so-talented T Walker Photography at The Pearl, but due to the stay-at-home mandate, much flexibility was needed! Taylor got permission to use a family friend’s ranch and turned a cow pasture into an elegant space for a romantic couple. With the sun peeking through the bright green grounds and a little whirling and twirling, we are convinced these pictures couldn’t capture Caitlin and Jacob’s splendor any better! Read on below for more of their story! Cheers to these soon-to-be newlyweds!

How they met: “We actually met at work. He was the only guy in our office, and all of the other ladies kept trying to set me up with him. They always told me how much he liked me, but I definitely played hard to get. I finally gave him a chance, and I couldn’t be happier that I did because now he’s going to soon be my forever!”

How he proposed: “We were on vacation in the Dominican Republic and on our last night there he took me out to the resort’s pier (Hilton La Romana) to ‘watch the sunset,’ but as we walked down the pier, I noticed one of the staff members from the resort fishing. The staff member, Daniel, greeted us and told us that he had hooked a fish and asked if I’d like to help reel it in. I reluctantly said yes because I’m not big into fishing, but I am so glad I did because once I pulled up the line, there were two laminated fishes attached at the end. One fish said “marry” and the other fish said “me?” I turned around in shock and Jacob was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!”
