Photographed by Captivating Weddings, Brittany and Cameron’s nature-filled engagement shoot captured in the Texas wilderness is setting all kinds of outdoor photography trends in Austin. Gazing into one another’s eyes, the couple gleamed beneath the perfectly setting Texas sun. Hand in hand, dashing across the creek barefoot and later snuggling in on another’s arms, they display an infectiously, playful kind of love that is just about as authentic as it gets. 

Brittany and Cameron met at a local bar. Cameron was nervous to make the first move but after a little convincing, made his way over to introduce himself to Brittany. Fast forward, Cameron had planned the perfect proposal, complete with a hot air balloon ride. To his dismay, his plans were halted when it began raining that day. Though the hot air balloon and rain weren’t compatible, nothing stopped Cameron from getting down on one knee. Instead, he invited Brittany to his apartment where he popped the long awaited question and retrieved a beautiful diamond ring he’d attached to their cat’s collar. It was sweet, sentimental and all that she could have asked for. Following the proposal, they met Brittany’s friends and family for a surprise brunch. 

Brittany and Cameron will be married this coming January and are planning a classic and romantic wedding in hues of burgundy, dusty rose and rose gold. They are most excited to have all the people they love together from different states supporting the couple on their wedding day. Cheers to the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs.!
