A Multicultural Modern Desert Wedding

Brides who are into all things desert and cacti will love this multicultural, modern desert wedding! Infused with the bride’s Vietnamese and the groom’s Lebanese heritages, this stunning wedding day is a perfect mixture of both sides in the most modern, beautiful way. To start out the day, guests enjoyed a traditional Vietnamese Catholic Mass, where bridesmaids wore traditional Ao Dais and Kathy wore a custom made traditional Vietnamese gown, before heading to Camp Lucy for their outdoor ceremony and reception. Kathy looked absolutely stunning the entire day, but our favorite outfit of hers has to be her ballgown style, illusion neckline gown from Unbridaled with embroidered lace flowers layered over tulle with a flowing train. Tablescapes adorned with gold beaded chargers and flatware from Whim Hospitality brought in a pop of metallic to complement teal linens and pastel purple, orange and pink florals. You can’t miss their cacti themed seating chart, as it’s truly like no other seating chart we’ve ever seen! After dancing the night away, guests headed to Hotel Van Zandt and JW Marriot Austin, ending the evening on a perfect note. From the bride: “One very special moment was the ceremony and reception reveal. We were both in awe to see how gorgeous the flowers and cacti-themed table display turned out. Alex and I spent the week prior to the wedding foraging cactus pads, cleaning them, and preparing them for the display. To see the decor and floral planning come to fruition was breathtaking. We will never forget that moment.”
