Gypsy Floral and Events completely set the scene with the most stunning lush floral designs from the live tree altar to the fun and funky chair treatments. Mel and Bill first met in the fall of 2010. Trying to find another form of exercise after suffering from running injuries, they connected at the Deep Eddy pool. They became fast friends and eventually began dating in 2011. Two years later, Bill asked Mel to marry him at Hotel Saint Cecilia on Valentine’s Day. The couple chose to make it official at the very same location on September 24, 2016. The art-deco yet sleek and simple style of the wedding was complemented by the bold, bright colors and florals. An hour before the wedding, the rain poured down. Miraculously it stopped just in time for the most beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception dinner. Mel’s childhood best friend and her husband co-officiated the ceremony adding a very personal touch.
