Andrew and Trace met through mutual friends in October 2010. Knowing now how different their personalities are, they look back and laugh when they talk about the first time they met at a dive bar’s karaoke night. At the time, Trace was still enjoying the college lifestyle, and Andrew was beginning his career as a young professional. Their mutual love of horror movies took their relationship from casual hangouts to official dating status. Many karaoke outings and movie nights later, Andrew finally agreed to make things official with Trace on April 11, 2011. After years filled with steak dinners and bottles of wine, TV binge nights and film festivals — and a growing love — the couple developed an unshakeable bond. Trace proposed to Andrew on January 31, 2016. Trace and Andrew decided to tie the knot at The Mansion. Located in the West Campus neighborhood of the University of Texas in Austin, the venue provided the perfect space for this couple to celebrate their union and highlight their unique and spirited wedding. They even welcomed their dog, Coach McGuirk, as the ring bearer!
