Proposal Before Tour

Clint and I met on an app, like many couples do in this new modern dating world. From the very moment we met, we both knew we had met someone who was going to change the course of our lives. Clint works in the music industry as a production manager for a touring country artist, and I work customer service for a tech company, while pursuing my degree in marriage and family therapy. One day, when he was about to leave town for the first two weeks we’d spent apart since we met, he took me out to lunch. He seemed nervous and fidgety, and had a beer at 11am, all odd occurrences for us, but I blamed it on the tour. When he walked me back to my office, he stopped in front of a window who’s shade’s were open and dropped down on one knee. I can’t recall what he said, but I’m pretty sure the word yes left my lips before he stopped speaking. After it was over, and he stood up, we heard banging on the window where a little group had formed to watch. It was so spontaneous, and private, but also meticulously planned and public. A perfect mix of everything.
