She worked tirelessly throughout the year to make every little detail matter and then coordinated the long weekend of celebrations impeccably. Alysha and Ashray can’t agree when they first met, but they know it was during their freshman year of college. Regardless of the timeline, the pair became inseparable soon after meeting!

Ashray planned an engagement that involved many of the couple’s close friends and family in Washington, D.C. While Alysha was under the guise that it was going to be a typical New Year’s trip with friends, she arrived a day early to see Ashray before everyone arrived. To ensure his plan would be executed, Ashray convinced Alysha that her crush, Steve Carell, had been spotted at the Lincoln Memorial. As they reached the top of the monument, Ashray got down on one knee when the nerves kicked in and he blurted, “Is it OK if I call you my wife?” Alysha accepted the proposal even though the surrounding crowd embarrassed her. One high-five later and they were engaged!
