Window Shopping Turned into a Proposal

We had been dating for 5 years, both married before and was in no rush to get married. One day we were walking around the mall and I decided to drag him to all the ring shops to just “try on” rings. We had no plans to purchase, but just window shop. Brandon was so smitten with the idea of me wearing a ring and is getting married that he began to search for engagement rings and stalk my Pinterest boards. One day I came home from work and it had been a long exhausting day, Brandon had bought all my favorite snacks and cake. When I was going through all my snacks Brandon was behind me on one knee with a ring in hand. I was very surprised and shocked. It wasn’t a fancy engagement but it was very us and initiate. It was perfect! Getting married May 5, 2020.
