What is one thing every bride should consider when booking a wedding DJ?
Professionalism and thorough communication is often overlooked when working with typical DJs. We never let a day pass in-between email correspondence with our brides. A bride should feel like they’re working with a DJ that is detail oriented and willing to collaborate. We love feedback, and we never play the same set twice! Our goal is to be sure that every musical moment of the event resonates with our brides and their guests.
What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?
Bringing people together with the right song at the right moment is what makes our job so special. There’s nothing quite like seeing grandma with her hands in the air while we sneak LCD Soundsystem in next to Paul Simon.
What types of music do you play?
We’re obsessed with music but we aren’t elitists! We get the same thrill from playing a 90s chart-topper as we do from spinning a rare soul 45. We play every style of music under the sun! Some favorites include Motown, Indie Rock, British Invasion, 90s R&B, 80s radio pop and early 2000s hip-hop!

What is one thing every bride should know about booking a wedding band?
Their repertoire list! Unlike DJs, a band’s performance catalog is not unlimited. Make sure their repertoire connects with you. With that said, a pro tip (if you love a song off the repertoire) is to always ask your bandleader if they happen to know it. You never know, you could get lucky!
What is the most requested song or music genre?
“I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston is a very popular request, but we never get sick of it!
