These lab partners turned lovers began their sweet story with countless hours of studying together in the library. After a few months of hanging out on campus, they decided to go on a coffee date. As Brian hugged Georgette goodbye on their first date, Georgette knew he was into her. Over the next five years of dating, the lovely couple went on many trips together, from romantic Paris to outdoorsy Colorado, but their 2016 vacation was extra special. They spent a week on Little Corn Island off the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua – Georgette’s mother’s birth country! The romantic trip with peaceful island vibes made the perfect setting for Brian to pop the question. Georgette had seen photos of a little driftwood swing on the beach that she wanted to visit, so with their camera in hand, the couple went on an adventure. Before they knew it, they found the swing! As Brian set up the tripod, Georgette thought they were taking a photo to capture the swing, but as they began to pose, Brian knelt down on one knee!
