Winter is the perfect season for a wedding featuring gorgeous jewel tones and greenery with pops of copper! Maddie and Josh met in August 2012 when she left Sydney, Australia to do an exchange semester at Ole Miss. Four years later, Maddie moved to the United States to get her Master’s degree. The couple dated four years before Josh popped the question. Maddie is a “big foodie,” and Josh organized a cooking class. Before class, they went for a walk through the garden, and Josh got down on one knee.
For their wedding, Maddie and Josh wanted to take advantage of the winter weather and chose a theme that was wild, moody and romantic with an industrial touch. What they liked most about their venue was having the wedding, cocktail hour and reception all in one place to maximize their time with guests.
The dance floor was probably the biggest hit of the night with dance-offs and dance circles that people would hop into to bust out their moves.
