Sara Karrow Weds Otis Hunter | Eclectic Sunlit Austin Wedding at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

When two artistic music lovers get married you get a super fun celebration like Sara and Otis’ eclectic sunlit Austin wedding at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Remi + Gold crafted beautiful blooms with cacti accents to complement the garden setting, and they looked particularly perfect mixed in with unique rental pieces from Loot Rentals and Whim Hospitality. Their guests were treated to delicious cuisine from Royal Fig Catering and everyone happily danced the night away in the dreamy setting. Cheers to Sara and Otis!

Sara and Otis share an artistic side and a love for music, so it was only natural that they met in Austin. They were the best of friends, always making each other laugh and always up for any adventure. In 2008, that friendship turned into something more.

On a trip to Boston en route to throw Sara’s dad a surprise retirement party, the two stopped at one of their favorite restaurants in Little Italy. They went to take a picture outside on the cobblestone streets when it started to snow. Otis turned around to snap a picture, and all of a sudden, he was on his knee.

The ceremony was beautiful. The sun was setting and the whole courtyard was glowing. Sara walked down the aisle to Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones, played by a string quartet. They both fought back tears during the ceremony until the very end.
