The special bond these two share strengthened their many years together and was evident in all the beautiful photos from their Austin wedding. Cheers to the happy couple!

Thielen and Jeff met through social media over a shared love of a Jason Mraz song. They realized they’d both be vacationing in Colorado during the same time, and although they didn’t meet because of hotel issues, they ended up chatting on the phone while Thielen and her brother drove all over searching for key lime pie. A week later was her birthday, and they ended up meeting over dinner, a trip to the Shrine Circus, and topping it all off with key lime pie.

The couple dated for almost a decade, having two children and sharing countless memories, when Jeff completely surprised Thielen with a proposal on a boating trip on the Mississippi. She immediately said, “yes, absolutely!” The couple tied the knot with Thielen’s father who’d been battling cancer at her side walking her down the aisle. They locked eyes with gratitude and said their vows after 11 years.
