Horseshoe Bay Resort was the perfect venue for Megan and John’s minimalist outdoor Austin wedding! These two lovebirds wanted to celebrate and dance the night away, and that’s just what they did! The amazing team at Whim Hospitality adorned the Austin wedding venue with lush greenery and elegant decor, and the talented Mint Photography was there to capture all the special moments. It was a love story for the digital age for Megan and John. He was about to close his online dating account when he came across Megan’s profile. John sent Megan a message and they chatted for nearly two weeks while John traveled for work. They finally met up for drinks and realized the way they found each other was meant to be.

John knew right away that he had found something special in Megan and started designing her engagement ring just a few months after they met. He planned a very intimate proposal at Megan’s parents’ house. John grabbed a bottle of champagne and took Megan outside to the deck where they had shared many memories together. He told Megan about his desires as future husband and wife and got down on one knee. They enjoyed a moment together after Megan said yes before telling her parents and Facetiming the rest of their family.
