From the bride: “Our wedding day turned out to be a beautiful Texas spring day and just what we wanted! It was April Fool’s Day, and I was hoping the rain would play a joke on us! The rain that had been forecasted all week held off until the next day. We had a Jewish ceremony that was very meaningful to us as we were married by a family friend and had our siblings read prayers and participate in the ceremony. Our Rabbi had a family emergency and so he could not be there to sign the Kutubah with us. David’s dad stepped in. It was as if he was meant to take on a big role in our wedding day ceremony. We chose every song for the cocktail hour and wedding reception, and that made it super fun to hang out and dance with all our friends and family. We absolutely loved the chuppah and cocktail hour floral arrangements, and we were blown away by the great job Remi + Gold did with our reception hall flower arrangements. Pink Avocado did a fantastic job catering; we still get compliments to this day on the food. After dinner and toasts we danced the Hora; successfully, no one fell off the chairs. It was so great to be surrounded by our friends and family celebrating us!”
