Held at The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria, this timeless engagement session is so sophisticated and was captured flawlessly by Mint Photography! Brittany and Dan’s story began when they first met in the summer of 2014 – she had just moved back to NYC after an internship and he was heading into his senior year at Columbia. Dan and a few of his friends were renting an apartment above a noodle factory in Chinatown and they decided to have a few people over on their rooftop. Brittany’s best friend knew Dan’s roommate, so he invited the two over. Brittany and Dan instantly connected, and the rest is history! Originally, the pair had planned to be wed at the end of October, but due to COVID-19, they chose to move their date to May 7, 2021. Now, to be held at Mae’s Ridge, Brittany and Dan are planning on a palette of taupe, chocolate brown, golden hues, and whites in their Austin wedding! Though the couple is excited for all the amazing vendors they have working to make their big day the very best, including yummy Royal Fig Catering as well as trendy decor and rentals from Whim Hospitality, bride Brittany says the wedding’s theme and design are what she is most excited about. “The style of our wedding is truly a nod to where our wedding is taking place combined with where we met and currently live; southwestern boho mixed with modern city chic,” she says. We love the juxtaposition of rural and urban elements so we can’t wait to see how this tasteful event takes shape!
