The One Where They Both Proposed
Chels proposed to me first, back home with all her family there. It was the most beautiful and special moment, but I’ve always known that I wanted to propose to her also. I planned to propose to her at our engagement pictures. I told her that Ann had assigned us “homework” for our session, to write each other a letter about why we wanted to marry each other. We both read our letters back-to-back, and once I was done, I knelt down and asked her to marry me. Of course she said yes, I mean she’d already asked me anyway, but it was the symbolism for me. I wanted her to know I was all in, just like she was. We’re getting married this Halloween at the Grand Lady, and I can’t wait to make Chelsea my wife.
