Events and Design is giving us a very special look inside her wedding planning process as we take a look at two of her very favorite styled shoots. Being full-service planning pros, R.A.C. Events takes the reigns from the beginning and is there every step of the way! “Our design approach is very unique in that we tie in other aspects such as graphic design, fashion design and interior design to produce the overall aesthetic of the event.”
Why is event design so important? “Event design is so much more than matching florals and linens. It’s about making every single piece cohesive. Our design style is contemporary with an authentic approach. We stay true to the client’s vision while keeping a modern and fresh look of the overall design or theme. “My favorite shoot, unbelievably, is actually the first one I ever designed and produced. I was in business about three months and had this concept for a bridal shower. We pulled it together in two weeks with an amazing team of vendors, and it’s been published four times since! It truly reflects why I got into the business in the first place. For my love of design, throwing a good party and thinking outside the box.”
Says Reyna, “We don’t just plan logistics, we manage our client’s biggest day from the very beginning, and follow them through all of life’s milestones. From their engagement party to bridal/couple’s shower to bachelorette/bachelor party, and ultimately wedding, we’re with them every step of the way!”

“My favorite detail from this shoot had to be all of the greenery that was incorporated. There were no live florals in this shoot, which is not usually common, but the greenery alone added a soft texture that really made everything stand out. Always do your research! Although, you may be a budget conscious bride, choose someone you’re comfortable with because you will be building a relationship with that planner from day one.”
R.A.C. Events and Design planner, Reyna Caraveo, reminds us how important the planner to bride relationship really is! It’s your wedding day and it’s important that you trust and really get to know your planner on a personal level.
“I love anything unconventional. We are seeing couples breaking the barriers of a traditional wedding and becoming more experimental in their design. From cakes to balloon or floral installation, lighting, and entertainment, the options are endless!”
