Engaged in Cabo

After 6 years of dating, Bret and I decided to take a nice vacation in Cabo San Lucas to celebrate our anniversary. The day he proposed, we spent the morning lounging by the pool and in the afternoon we rode horses on the beach. It was such an exciting experience, with the exception of our horses constantly trying to bite each other! We came back to our resort and got ready for our dinner reservation. We left the hotel room to walk to the restaurant across the resort. Bret suggested we go take some photos on the beach before our reservation time. We took our shoes off and padded through the sand on the beach, to get the best photo in front of the water. Once we made it to the perfect spot, Bret surprised me by getting down on one knee and proposing. He had the most beautiful speech prepared and topped it off by pulling out the most gorgeous ring from his pocket. Later I found out that he had set up his GoPro on the beach and filmed the entire proposal! We spent the rest of the evening celebrating and drinking champagne. We called our family and friends in the morning to share the good news!

It was the best trip and such a magical evening that I will always cherish. We are getting married on September 28th, 2019  in Dripping Springs and could not be more excited!
