Katarina Krajickova and Ryan Robinson’s Romantic Summer Wedding Captured by Lindsey Mueller Photography
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Ryan proposed during a perfect weekend in Belize. Katarina only remembers the first half of what Ryan said, but she will never forget the look in his eyes. She said yes through lots of happy tears, and the couple shared their exciting news with friends and family.
SETTING THE SCENE: The Four Seasons Hotel Austin, on the banks of Lady Bird Lake, provided the perfect opportunity for a romantic, outdoor ceremony. They were surrounded by Texas Heritage Oaks, and the venue overlooks the glistening waters of Lady Bird Lake. The hotel also has a beautiful indoor ballroom, which was perfect for their reception. It was everything Katarina and Ryan were looking for in a venue.
AMAZING ALTAR: A white wooden arch, draped in sheer ivory fabric panel, featuring hanging crystal strands with a large cluster of cream hydrangeas in the upper left corner. The aisle was lined with ivory rose petals. The back of the aisle was covered by lucite risers with tall crystal candelabras topped with a mound of cream hydrangeas, blush roses and white phalaenopsis orchids, making their altar picture perfect in every way.
BEFORE THE BIG DAY: Katarina and Ryan got to Austin on the Thursday before their big day to meet with their families and friends, many of whom traveled from Europe and different parts of America. The couple wanted to spend as much time as possible with their family, and of course, make them feel extra special. On Friday, the couple planned a “Welcome to Austin” mixer with cocktails and barbeque at the Tap Room. They had La Barbecue cater the event and spent the night mixing and mingling with all the people they love.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Place cards were positioned around a cluster of wide cylinder vases of varying heights, which were filled with submerged white dendrobium orchids with floating candles on top. The head table was decorated with a long mirrored vase filled with cream hydrangeas and blush roses, flanked by tall crystal candelabras and topped with a mound of cream hydrangeas, blush roses and white phalaenopsis orchids. Clear cylinder vases held the bridesmaids bouquets, and tall stemmed votives with floating candles in pink water and gold mercury glass votives decorated the rest of the venue. It was truly beautiful.
