Kate Goddard of Wild Sky Events designed this ethereal setting mixed with modern touches for a contemporary and whimsical vibe at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Marquee Event Rentals set the scene with their wood farm table and wicker-back chairs and topped the table with gorgeous glassware, flatware and china to match. The amazingly talented Averi with and Eye designed this invitation suite and hand-written calligraphy place cards set atop each place setting. Clementine Botanical Art blew us away with their non-traditional, freeform florals; we’re still swooning over this gorgeous wildflower and peony-filled bouquet and the matching boutonnieres. Our model bride looked timeless in her stunning lace sheath gown from Unbridaled, and My Style Team polished off her look with beautiful a smokey eye and a braided hairstyle. The overall goal was to create a look that had very soft lines but was still bursting with texture. When I found out we were going to have the shoot at Wildflower Center, I knew I wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous property. That got me started down the design path of grasses, wildflowers and unique textures for the tablescape.”
