An Engagement in the Big Apple

We currently live in Austin, but my fiance David knows how much I love New York City, so he proposed a trip there last March. I lived in the city for a couple years after college, and he’d never been, so I planned to show him around. Little did I know, he’d been doing his own share of planning! Right after we landed, the first thing I wanted to do was go for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and check out the promenade and park. I was beyond surprised when he got down on one knee with one of my favorite city skylines.
