Lauren and Jim celebrated their big day with a colorful Camp Lucy wedding – the natural and beautiful site, with it’s canopying oak trees and timbered architecture created just the mystical setting they were looking for and accommodated their large guest list. The bride wore a gorgeous lace Pronovias gown, and her bridesmaids wore sparkling, gold Sorella Vita gowns. Whim Catering provided the plated dinner of herb-grilled beef tenderloin, green hatch chili and chorizo stuffed quail and a vegetarian entree of portabella mushrooms as well as a red snapper filet. Simon Lee Bakery crafted the stunning naked cake that was adapted from Lauren’s favorite Williams-Sonoma recipe, which included scalloped cream cheese frosting between three tiers and nine layers, was almond-scented with raspberry preserves and was topped with a golden laser cut sign that read, “And so the adventure begins.” Christina Carroll Photography captured the colorful scene and even depicted the emotional dimensionality; the couple was amazed at her incredible talent.
