Outdoor Garden Party Wedding Captured by Sophie Epton Photography | Megan + Louis
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Megan and Louis met while both working for Southwest Airlines in Phoenix. A few years later, Louis decided to move back to Austin. Megan was flying through Austin and took a chance and asked Louis out. Luckily, he said yes and they have been together ever since!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Megan and Louis took a trip to Megan’s hometown of Denver. A huge snowstorm hit and there wasn’t much they could do because of the snow. They decided to bundle up and walk to a theatre for a movie. On their way home, Louis stopped under a streetlight, got down on one knee and proposed in the snow!
WHIMSICAL GARDEN PARTY: Megan used hues of rose gold, gold, pink and blush to give the whimsical garden party wedding a fresh, romantic feeling.
GET HER LOOK: The bride wanted her dress to feel romantic and girly. The layers in the skirt added uniqueness to the dress. She knew she didn’t want anything too constructed and wanted to match the feel of the venue.
SAVORY SWEETS: Green Lily Bakery created a dessert bar for the lovely couple. The cake was a triple berry cobbler cake and the groom’s cake was a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. Their dessert bar consisted of Fiori di Sicilia petit fours, French macaroons, s’mores tartlet, mini crème brulée, and mini blueberry cheesecakes.
VENDOR LOVE: Megan’s wedding planner Ellen Westcott was all the rage. Megan truly enjoyed planning her wedding because of Ellen who was able to interpret Megan’s vision to the fullest!
