Dreamy Dinner Date
Derek surprised me by planning a “date night” with dinner on Driftwood at Trattoria Lisina. I believed it was just a normal dinner date but then a Black Escalade pulled up to my apartment and I was a bit confused. Derek called me saying a car was outside to pick me up. The car service driver came to get me, I went inside the car, and Derek was sitting there! He said he wanted it to be nice and “fancy”. As we were driving over to Trattoria Lisina he was a bit jittery, then I started to wonder what was happening….we arrived for dinner and we went to walk around the vineyards at the restaurant. We come across a fountain and he tells me he has something to ask me and mentions how much he loves me and can’t wait to spend our lives together, especially after 5 years of dating and 2 years of doing long distance we were ready! Then he popped the question!! I was so happy and surprised for sure.
