Austin Wedding Fashion Trends We’d Love to See in 2016

The year is coming to a close and we’ve loved every minute of it!  As we wrap up a year of sharing the most incredible Austin weddings and the talented vendors that brought them to life, we couldn’t help but reflect on some of our favorite wedding details found within the pages of the inaugural issue of Brides of Austin. Over the next week we’ll be looking back at our favorite wedding trends found in the 2015 issue from gorgeous gowns to awe-worthy florals! We’re kicking off the week with a look at our favorite wedding fashion trends. This year has been full of statement making looks for brides, bridesmaids and even the grooms! Take a look at these trending looks that have us in style heaven, and stay tuned each day to see what trends we hope stick around for 2016! Cheers to the new year!

Illusion Gowns

This is a trend that has only skyrocketed in popularity, and we don’t see it leaving the runway anytime soon. We love the dramatic and couture element this fashion design brings to gowns!

Mix-Matched Maids

While we know this trend didn’t make its debut this year, it’s definitely here to stay! We love giving maids the freedom to change up the shade and style of their gown while still perfectly fitting into the overall look of the wedding day!

Boys in Blue

We love that grooms now more than ever have the freedom to go beyond the traditional black tux and show off a more edgy side with suites in shades of blue!
