PRETTY PAPER: Shyanie and Mark’s invitations were custom designed at Paper Place. The couple looked through many design books before finding their perfect look. After considering 10 different types of cotton paper, they went with an elegant mix-and-matched set of white and gray paper with beautiful gold foil.
AMAZING ALTAR: Inspired by a Pinterest find, Shyanie wanted to be married under the trees. The breathtaking altar had a eucalyptus garland and flowers at the apex and sides. Words don’t do this sweet scene justice.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The bride’s most memorable moment of the wedding was the brief time she spent with her dad right before he walked her down the aisle. Before making their grand entrance, Shyanie and her father hugged and shed some tears after reading the heartfelt letter she had written him. The bride describes her father as “her world.”
SAVORY SWEETS: The bride isn’t the biggest fan of fondant, but loves jam-filled cakes, so when she learned about deconstructed cakes, or naked cakes, she knew it was the perfect cake for her! Sweet Treets Bakery whipped up a naked almond cake with lemon butter cream between layers of strawberry jam filling that was simply divine!
