Catherine Chlebowski Weds Gregory Henson | Fresh Spring Wedding at The Contemporary Austin at Laguna Gloria

April showers cleared just in time for Catherine and Gregory’s fresh spring wedding at The Contemporary Austin at Laguna Gloria! The couple wanted the gorgeous flowers by Bouquets of Austin to mimic the beautiful greenery of Laguna Gloria, and they also wanted to incorporate Mexican influences including custom papel picados with their name and wedding date as banners and little flags. The couple was so thankful that Jill from Crave Catering made sure to bring them all the delicious food and drinks so they were ready to celebrate all evening! Catherine and Greg met at an Austin bar while they were both attending the University of Texas. They hit it off immediately. The couple also got engaged in Austin. One Easter, Catherine and Greg met there while living in different cities in Texas. They went to take their dog, Rosie, on a walk. As if in slow motion, Greg got down on one knee and pulled out of his pocket the most beautiful engagement ring. Catherine couldn’t say “yes” fast enough before onlookers in the park started clapping and cheering for them.

Right as their officiant pronounced them husband and wife, Catherine and Greg looked at each other with the biggest, goofiest grins on their faces. That was the moment they had been waiting for. When they shared their first kiss, Greg dipped Catherine, and on his way back up, raised his fists in excitement, cheering along with the crowd.
