SWEET BEGINNINGS: Taylor and Adam both studied architecture in Texas; Taylor at Texas A&M and Adam at the University of Texas. They both just happened to study abroad in Italy the same semester. After both schools arrived and got settled in, everyone hung out in the courtyard. Adam approached Taylor’s group and asked if they wanted to share their bottle of wine. Taylor and Adam hung out that night and pretty much every night after. Once the two made it back to Texas, they decided to make it official and became a couple!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Taylor’s parents and their friends planned a trip to Napa Valley, and Taylor and her sister were invited to tag along. Adam planned to meet up with everyone near the end of the trip to continue on to San Francisco with Taylor. During their first night in Napa Valley Taylor’s parents planned a private wine tasting at the Whetstone Wine Cellar. Taylor thought she was heading to the bathroom but she was really being lead to a balcony where Adam was waiting for her. Taylor immediately started crying upon seeing Adam and said yes to the best question he could have ever asked her!
HUES TO USE: Taylor has always loved pink but she wanted to add a little drama so she decided to add hues of gold, raspberry and merlot. She also added touches of black and white to give their wedding a classic, modern feel.
VENDOR LOVE: Ellen of Westcott Weddings was Taylor and Adam’s saving grace. She went above and beyond, and was on top of every detail while supplying her impeccable taste. She even drove to San Antonio countless times from Austin to make sure everything was flawless. Ellen also recommended almost all of the vendors that Taylor and Adam used, and they couldn’t have asked for a better team.
