Natural Elegant Austin Wedding Captured by Ashley Bosnick Photography | Alli + Alec

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Alli took a trip to Austin for the weekend to visit Alec. He surprised her with a picnic at Zilker Park with wine, cheese and fruit. He then asked her to watch a heartfelt video. Alec created a video of the couple’s special moments in the style of How I Met Your Mother for their future children. At the end of the video, Alli looked up and he was on one knee!

HUES SHE USED: Alli and Alec love nature and lush green landscapes. They decided to go with a natural, elegant but simple look for their wedding using hues of white, sage green, neutral and some purple to add a little color for spring. They both also love simplicity in design and chose a venue that would allow them to highlight the natural beauty of the location with elegant accents.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Alli carried a beautiful assortment of peonies, roses, ranunculus, dahlias, hydrangeas, eggplant, heather, alstroemeria, eucalyptus and bay leaves.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Apart from the insane limbo contest during the reception, the most memorable moment for Alli would have to be the impeccable moment of sunshine. There was a threat of rain all afternoon on their wedding day and the couple was afraid they wouldn’t be able to have the ceremony outside. During the ceremony, Father Al asked for God’s blessing of their marriage and right at that moment, the sun peeked through the clouds lighting up the entire altar.

VENDOR LOVE: Alli loved working with their photographer Ashley Bosnick. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond helping them create the schedule for the entire day. Ashley also shielded them from the pre-wedding craziness and did a great job directing all of the shots.
