Zarin and Fahad were wed in the most stunning South Asian wedding at The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria. The Bangladeshi/Pakistani couple celebrated the rites of marriage with a traditional Nikkah ceremony in a champagne, peach and white palette, with the Colorado River glistening behind as their sunset backdrop. The ceremony was the perfect fusion of South Asian and American tradition – in fact, bride Zarin says, “The Nikkah bride typically doesn’t walk down the aisle, but I made sure to incorporate that into my day to mirror my experience being a Bangladeshi woman growing up in the United States.” She wore the most stunning champagne and white Nikkah dress that was beautifully complemented by her soft pastel bouquet. Whim Hospitality and Loot Rentals set the scene for the ceremony and reception with a gold altar arch, gold Chiavari chairs and white linens, while Crave Catering created a tasty spread for their guests. After scrolling through their photos featuring Zarin’s gorgeous champagne and white Nikkah dress, you absolutely must watch the couple’s South Asian wedding highlight video captured by The Crakes, linked below! Cheers to the newlywed Mr. and Mrs. Raza!

From the bride on one thing she learned: “I learned that the most memorable part of our wedding was when my husband and I had a few minutes to ourselves. Make sure you have a special moment just between you two during the day – it’s so special!”
