This Wedding’s New York Take on Austin Style Will Make You Feel All the Things

Held at the stunningly simple BARR – mansion, ballroom & farmstead, Aly and David’s Austin style wedding with a New York twist speaks for itself with its understated boho features and nostalgic, eclectic mood. This venue is a one-stop-shop due to its hosting of the event, providing of the cake, catering and even bartending services for the evening, and we can’t get over the perfectly retro look of it all. From vintage brass candelabras on gauzy tablescapes to cushy leather armchairs and bohemian furs and cowhide, the decor and rentals from Whim Hospitality and Loot Rentals marry all other aspects of this big day together. Our favorite part was the couple’s choice of incorporating “beer burros,” furry friends carrying saddles filled with Shiner Bock local beer, into their cocktail hour. There is nothing we don’t adore about this wedding featuring a New York take on Austin style. Cheers to Aly and David!
