A Waterside Resort Venue Wedding for the Books!

This waterside wedding is giving us all the romantic destination vibes. Linh and Kyle tied the knot at their dream venue after having dealt with hurdles caused by the pandemic, although you wouldn’t believe it after looking at these photos. Located on the water, Horseshoe Bay Resort was one of the few components that the couple were able to keep in planning and replanning due to the pandemic. All of our COVID brides know the struggle of weighing options and making compromises. While the couple kept their waterside venue, what started as a 300-guest wedding was quickly cut to an intimate 30. From cutting their guest list to bolstering storms on the morning of their wedding, Linh and Kyle rolled with the punches for what ended up being their perfect day. After all, when asked what she learned in wedding planning, Linh noted that it’s not the flowers, cake or dress that make the day. It’s about marrying the love of your life, surrounded by your favorite people.

The waterside venue, beautiful on its own, was elevated with blush and dusty-toned florals and accents of gold throughout. Their tiered cake by Sweet Treets Bakery was nothing short of amazing and accented with gold details as well. The couple nailed their details. With the groom’s Korean background, they incorporated cultural umbrellas, adding to the wedding’s romantic and flirty aesthetic.
