Vows That Wow | Thalia and Gavin

Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty. 

This month, we’re featuring an extravagant affair with an emerald green and cream color scheme . Thalia and Gavin said “I do” on August 10, 2024. 

The Wedding Day

Thalia and Gavin’s wedding was truly an emerald dream come to life. From the moment guests stepped into the ceremony space, they were greeted by dramatic florals stretching from floor to ceiling, beautifully framing the cathedral windows and lining the aisle with vibrant blooms. The couple chose exquisite shiny white floor coverings, enhancing the bright and airy atmosphere. Romantic candles flickered throughout the room, complementing the elegant white drapery. Emotions filled the air as Thalia walked down the aisle in a classic wedding dress, her hair styled in a romantic updo. Their ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of their faith.

After the ceremony, guests were guided to a whimsically decorated reception area that awaited them. Butterflies fluttered throughout the theme, adorning the seating chart and signage for a touch of enchantment. Chandeliers and lush greenery hung from the tall ceilings of HighPointe Estate, creating a fairytale ambiance. Luxurious green velvet draping adorned the space, with matching lounge furniture thoughtfully placed for guests to relax. The tables were adorned with stunning patterned linens, and acrylic details added a modern touch to the chairs and décor. Thalia and Gavin’s towering cake was a showstopper, perfectly matching their elegant theme. They delighted guests with experiential touches like custom leather branding, a magazine-inspired photo op, live fashion portraits, and even a kid zone for the little ones.

As the evening unfolded, Thalia changed into a fun one-shoulder party dress with ruffles and a slit, ready to dance the night away.  After everyone celebrated on the dance floor, the couple shared a private last dance—a trend we absolutely adore. Meanwhile, their guests lined up outside with sparklers to give them a magical send-off under the stars.
