Week after week, our team receives and showcases stunning weddings from across Austin, all courtesy of the immensely talented wedding vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.
This month, we’re spotlighting Paityn and Matthew’s vibrant garden-inspired wedding. Their January 25, 2025 celebration was the perfect blend of elegance and fun. From their custom signature cocktails displayed in a vintage frame, to bold floral centerpieces bursting with color, every detail felt intentional and full of personality. Guests were welcomed by patterned linens and playful textures, while the couple exchanged vows in front of a lush floral arch that looked straight out of a fairytale.
The Snyder’s Wedding Day
Paityn and Matthew Snyder’s wedding was a perfect balance of timeless elegance and modern romance. With an eye for detail and a celebration filled with intentional touches, the couple brought their vision to life with the help of an incredible vendor team. Simply XO Events helped curate every element with a seamless flow, while Quest Events provided statement-making draping that elevated both ceremony and reception spaces.
The couple exchanged vows beneath a breathtaking floral arch overflowing with vibrant blooms in shades of pink, red, and lilac, creating a garden-inspired scene that felt straight out of a fairytale. Guests watched as Paityn and Matthew said their “I do’s” in a moment that was as cinematic as it was heartfelt.
When it was time to celebrate, the reception carried the same spirit of romance and whimsy. Guests were welcomed into a warm and inviting space filled with twinkling lights and glowing candles. Tablescapes dressed in richly patterned green linens were paired with abundant florals and thoughtful place settings, creating a look that was both bold and refined. SoHo Event Co. delighted guests with a dining experience as memorable as the décor itself.
Paityn looked radiant throughout the day, with hair perfected by Lola Beauty to complement her romantic bridal style. The couple’s towering cake, framed by lush florals, served as both a stunning centerpiece and a sweet ending to the evening.
From the emotional ceremony to the vibrant reception, Paityn and Matthew’s wedding was a celebration to remember—full of beauty, joy, and intentional details that reflected their love story in the most meaningful way.
What Is Something You Learned From Your Wedding?
“Everyone says the day flies by, and wow, they are not kidding. One second I was getting my makeup done, and the next we were saying goodbye to guests. It all goes by in a blink, so soak it up. Take little mental snapshots, hold your partner’s hand, look around the room, and just be fully in the moment. It really is the sweetest blur.”
What Was Your Favorite Wedding Day Memory?
“It’s so hard to pick just one favorite memory because the day was filled with so many special moments. One that stands out was arriving at the venue while everything was still being set up. Seeing months of planning and my vision come to life was surreal. I was just giddy over the details. I love the little things, so getting to walk in and see everything come together exactly how I pictured it was magical. I can still remember the smell of all the gorgeous florals filling the air, especially around the arches. But my favorite moment of all was our first look. We did it as a quiet little ceremony with me walking down the aisle just like I would later in front of our guests. It felt like our own private moment, just the two of us. We really value that kind of intimacy. We even got engaged in a quiet spot on a quaint little street by the water in Old Town Alexandria, just the two of us.”
