Beginning with a sacred, traditional ceremony, the day transformed into an electric, whimsical party, proof that timeless romance and playful modern design make the most incredible pair.
The Wedding Day
Brought to life by Lumina Events, every detail of Heidi and Kasey’s celebration was curated to spark joy. After exchanging vows at a church Downtown, the couple welcomed guests to an outdoor-meets-indoor reception that felt like stepping straight into a dream.
Heidi radiated effortless elegance in a breathtaking gown, while LoLa Beauty ATX crafted her glowing bridal look.
The reception design, captured through the lens of Jessie Schultz Photography, was a masterclass in playful sophistication. Bright, lush florals by Remi & Gold anchored the space with bursts of citrus tones, warm pinks, and cheerful purples, seamlessly interweaving with oversized paper flowers from Flowerette and statement disco cacti. A custom black-and-white patterned dance floor set the stage, surrounded by woven textures and chic lounge seating from Party at the Moontower and printed linens from BBJ La Tavola.
Every corner offered an interactive delight for guests: mini beer burros from The Pub Pony, custom stickers from Austin Sticker Company, sweet treats from Caketini Bar & Co., and an espresso martini ice luge crafted by Full Spectrum Ice Sculptures. Content creator Dove and Grace Content Co. captured all the candid behind-the-scenes magic in real time, while Southern Revelry kept guests entertained with a fun photo booth setup. After an unforgettable night, the couple made their getaway courtesy of Hill Country Vintage Vault.
Heidi & Kasey’s Favorite Memories
For Heidi, stepping into the completed reception was a moment of pure magic.
“Walking into the reception space and seeing my vision come to life was such a surreal moment,” Heidi recalled. “Every detail felt magical, from the vibrant pops of color throughout the space to the rotating disco cactus, whimsical oversized paper flowers, strolling saxophonist, mini pony beer burros, and bubble machine. It truly felt like stepping into a dream. Watching our guests take it all in and seeing their reactions was absolutely priceless.”
The weekend began with a stunning rehearsal dinner at Malverde at La Condesa, setting the stage for a celebration that hit its peak on the wedding night dance floor. Guests enjoyed a catwalk moment, espresso martini shots at the ice luge, and Heidi’s outfit change into a show-stopping disco dress to dance the night away.
Heidi and Kasey’s celebration serves as a vivid reminder that the best weddings don’t take themselves too seriously. They honor tradition where it counts and turn the rest into an unforgettable party.
