Vows that Wow — Alexandra & Nathan

If Autumn was personified as a wedding, it would look like Alexandra and Nathan’s. An outdoor ceremony, fall colors and a woodsy reception hall make for the autumnal celebration of the year!

How the Couple Met

Alexandra and Nate first met as college freshmen at the University of California, Santa Barbara. As cadets in the army ROTC program, the two quickly became friends. After two years of friendship, the couple began dating. Through their time at school together, Alexandra and Nate became best friends, teammates and each others’ rock. They tied the knot on September 10, 2023.

“With Nate originally being from California and myself originally being from New York, our wedding day was very special as it was likely one of the only times the entirety of both families would all be together to celebrate in the same place,” writes the bride.

The Wedding Day

Alexandra and Nate’s big day was held at the beautiful Addison Grove, a venue located in the Austin hill country and less than 20 minutes from downtown. Their woodsy venue was accompanied by fall-inspired decor and rentals from Marquee Event Rentals. Completing the couple’s modern, western boho vision were florals from Native Bloom Floral Design. Both the ceremony and reception were an autumnal wonderland!

It all came together under the coordination of Lila Lane Events & Planning, who made sure every detail was in place so the bride and groom could enjoy their special day. Each moment was captured by Aurelia Baca Photography, giving Alexandra and Nathan memories to look back on for a lifetime.

“Aurelia captured the day so beautifully and I am so incredibly grateful to have such wonderful photos to look back on and remember the day,” writes the bride. “She also really helped calm my nerves the day of and overall helped the wedding run smoothly.”

“The details all came together wonderfully between the florals, the signage, the personal touches, and the western details. … It was about 100 degrees out, but that absolutely did not stop anyone from dancing the night away to celebrate with family and friends. The day was so much fun and I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate with loved ones. A day we won’t forget!”
