Week after week, our team receives and showcases stunning weddings from across Austin, all courtesy of the immensely talented wedding vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.
This month, we’re featuring a colorful celebration that took place in the gardens of The Grand Lady. Cindy and Paul said “I do” on April 19, 2024.
Cindy + Paul’s Favorite Wedding Memory
“So many! Probably walking out to the garden after the ceremony and it was just Paul and I. It was so beautiful to have a quiet moment with one another before going back to our guests. Another was, reading our vows that we wrote and hearing each other’s for the first time.”
The Wedding Day
On the morning of the wedding, The Grand Lady’s serene property soon filled with the joyful chatter of the bridal party getting ready. Cindy and her bridesmaids relaxed in the bridal suite, lounging in their adorable matching floral pajamas. Once their hair and makeup were complete, they changed into elegant mint-colored gowns, while Cindy prepared for her first look. Meanwhile, the groomsmen were in their suite, enjoying foosball and whiskey.
After Cindy and Paul shared their first look, it was time to head to the stunning gardens for the ceremony. Surrounded by beautiful blooms that towered above them, the couple’s garden ceremony was like a dream. Cocktail hour followed in the courtyard, where Soho Catering and Consulting served delicious small bites. The lawn featured garden tables with fringe umbrellas and cozy lounge chairs, inviting guests to relax and mingle. Before heading into the reception hall, guests could find their seats at the breathtaking seating chart created by Design To Flourish.
Bianca Nichole and Co., the wedding planner, transformed the reception hall into a magical indoor garden. Tables were dressed in Premiere Event’s gingham tablecloths, with candles and blooms beautifully adorning each one. Floral clouds suspended from the ceiling created an ethereal atmosphere that left guests in awe. The Rademachers had a custom dance floor, and wicker baskets overflowing with florals were scattered throughout the space. Guests were free to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor areas of The Grand Lady; some danced the night away, while others admired live fashion sketches by Vogue Vignette. The celebration wouldn’t have been complete without the classic three-tier wedding cake and a steak inspired groom’s cake by Michelle’s Patisserie.
This unforgettable day was filled with joy, laughter, and the love of family and friends, creating memories that Cindy and Paul will cherish forever.
