SWEET BEGINNINGS: Tyler and Cody met while waiting tables to make a little extra money one summer. At the time, they were both dating other people, but they knew there was something special there.  As the summer ended, the two went their separate ways. A few months later, Cody asked Tyler if he wanted to go out to dinner and catch up. The connection was undeniable and soon after they began dating.

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Cody had the perfect plan to propose on a romantic trip to London. Tyler was completely in the dark and kept ruining Cody’s perfect proposal spots by complaining about the crowds or the cold. Finally, Cody found his chance and pulled Tyler onto a gazebo on The River Thames and began talking sweetly. Tyler began to again complain about the cold wind and made his way back to the walkway. Before they got far, Cody turned to Tyler and said, “Stop! I’m trying to give you this ring.” Tyler immediately said yes and the two couldn’t help but laugh after talking about how many times Cody tried to asked Tyler to marry him.

VENDOR LOVE: Tyler and Cody loved working with Katie Fingerhut and Becky Navarro with Pearl Events. They made the process so easy and fun. These ladies knew exactly what they are doing and did a fabulous job.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Westbank Flower Market created a stunning altar backdrop featuring an ombre pattern of purple blooms in a loose design. Tyler surprised Cody with the purple hues — Cody’s favorite color — seen throughout the wedding!

SAVORY SWEETS: Simon Lee Bakery made the couple three of the most amazing cakes: the first one being a gold foil cake with Piña colada cake filling, the second an orange cake with buttercream frosting, and the third being layers of cookies with icing. There wasn’t a piece left by the end of the night!

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: As the night came to a close, Tyler and Cody shared a final dance. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the newlyweds shared a kiss to end the evening while guests showered them with confetti. Everyone was so happy and full of love.
