Wedding Inspiration

Tropical Bohemian Elopement Inspo from Eclipse Event Co.

This tropical bohemian styled shoot has us feeling like we took a little vacation, right here in the Texas Hill Country! With amazing details all around, from the boho furniture from Marquee Event Rentals and the incorporation of bright colors everywhere you turn, this scene gives plenty of inspiration for an intimate, laid-back elopement between a starry-eyed couple and just a few of their very closest loved ones. The venue’s sweeping Hill Country views and grand old-world-inspired buildings bring a Mediterranean coastline feel to this elopement, while bold, saturated florals from The Bloom Bar – including our favorite, the King Protea – round out the tropical bohemian vibes. To this couple, enjoying good fare is almost as important as the company they share it with, so the catering and bartending aspects were given much attention, including eye-catching drinks and mouthwatering small bites enjoyed al fresco at the boho farmhouse table beneath the patio’s shade. Planned and designed by Eclipse Event Co., this styled shoot gives us all the heart eyes for a tropical bohemian celebration that’s oh-so-romantic. Happy scrolling!

From the planner: “The inspiration was to showcase a small elopement that blended bohemian flair meets vibrant Palm Springs. These bold and vibrant colors represent the colorful sun-kissed nature that is Palm Springs with its warm weather and sun. The bohemian flair is represented in the mixes of rattan inspired furniture and antique glassware. The floral by The Bloom Bar specifically was inspired by the desert meets tropical vibe. Statement-making King Protea set the stage and complemented the blooms with wispy pampas grass, celosia and pincushion proteas. Birch & Brass brought rattan furniture and etched glassware. Nicole Schultz Makeup helped to accent the bohemian flair dress by Melange, as well as the jumpsuit from Unbridaled. 512 Boutique Events created a menu of shrimp ceviche and jerk chicken and were complemented by the specialty cocktails created by Something Old Fashioned. The groom dressed in a tailored suit from Ross Bennett. Peach Paper incorporated watercolor cacti into the stationery. All of this wonderful Palm Springs flair came together at the wonderful One World Theatre.”
