Tessa Guerra and & Corbin Jeffs

Tessa and Corbin celebrated their marriage with a wedding as colorful as their love and after hearing their love story, we think it was totally appropriate! The two first matched on a dating app that a friend originally downloaded for Tessa, who agreed to either go on three dates or delete the app in two weeks. Nearing the end of the two weeks, she matched with Corbin who was in town for work, but heading back to New Mexico soon. She only ever made it on one date – the rest was history! After Tessa and Corbin had been dating for a while, they put the pieces together and discovered they had crossed paths many times before actually meeting. From their time at Texas A&M to happenstance in Wichita Falls, fate had a funny way of working things out.

Tessa says she knew as soon as she laid eyes on the reclaimed French gazebo at Ma Maison, she would get married there. With the help of Lila Lane Events & Planning, that dream became a reality in the form of a romantic, French-inspired wedding day! Filled with teal, gold, and bold pops of color, blooms by Urban Rubbish stole the show and brought a touch of vibrancy to every corner of the ceremony. Tessa and Corbin took part in a first touch, which provided a sweet moment of calm ahead of the rest of their eventful wedding day. Their labrador Angus and border collie Bowie both got to take part in the festivities as well!

Their reception was decorated in a display of refined rentals from Premiere Events where guests enjoyed a delicious dinner before dancing the night away. When the DJ played Tessa and Corbin’s song, One of the bride and groom’s favorite parts about the big day was having their dinner served privately in the bridal suite rather than at the sweetheart table. They both say it was wonderful to have a quiet moment alone with each other to process that all the work we put in came together so beautifully and that they were finally married!
