This sweet summertime wedding is full of light, airy and natural touches that we’re totally swooning over. Nettie Teter and Clay Schmidt’s wedding day was a summertime dream, and they even lucked out with the July weather not being unbearably hot! The sweet couple said their “I do’s” inside at The Addison Grove, followed by a quick cocktail hour outside enjoying the weather, then back indoors to dance the rest of the night away with all of their loved ones. We’re loving the simplicity of their reception decor from Marquee Event Rentals, yet it still feels so elegant and thoughtfully put-together. What’s not to love from this sweet summertime wedding? From the bride on her favorite memories: “My two favorite memories of our wedding day were the few moments Clay and I got to sneak away from the crowd and just be with each other. We snuck out of the reception to take golden hour photos with our photographer where we just got to snuggle and kiss and soak in that we were really husband and wife. And even more fun and intimate, we had a private last dance while our guests lined up for the sparkler exit. Twirling, gazing into each other’s eyes, and (finally) getting to look around at how the decor had all come together was the perfect way to savor the last few moments of our wedding.”
