Susan Andreano weds Austin Podowski in a boho meets Texas soiree with the most fabulous florals from Gypsy Floral and Events. The couple wanted a natural feel with a pop of spring, so they incorporated a lot of wood, greenery and mixed metals into their festive celebration. Cheers to this sweet couple!

Susan and Austin’s proposal was like something straight off the silver screen. Susan was woken up to a surprise trip to Mexico! On the second day of their trip, the two were picked up by an SUV and taken to a helicopter pad. Susan was terrified – but equally excited. As the couple soared through the air during their helicopter tour, the words, “Will You Marry Me” were written in the sand below them. Susan quickly turned to Austin and he confirmed those words were meant just for her! 25,000 feet in the air, she said yes! The trip was the proposal of Susan’s dreams. Not to mention, Austin is a short film director and had the connections to have someone capture the entire scene like a movie! The couple celebrated their big day at The Union on Eighth, an auto body shop that has been transformed into a quaint wedding venue. Polished concrete and exposed beams contribute to the space’s modern industrial style. Susan and Austin were married on May 28, 2016.
