We’re Obsessed with This Rustic Hill Country Wedding

We’re not sure about you, but we’re obsessed with the Hill Country views that Austin has to offer – and it turns out Kristianne and Joshua are too! After dating throughout college and long distance afterward, these two tied the knot in a rustic Hill Country wedding that truly screams Austin, Texas! 

After getting engaged, Kristianne and Joshua found their perfect venue at Hidden River Ranch Weddings & Events. There was no other venue that was as perfect for this couple! It’s complete with sunset views, a pond and a large barn – the best equation for a rustic wedding. 

Not only did the couple have a beautiful ceremony, but when you take a look at their reception pictures your jaw will be on the floor. With a black, pink and gold color palette, their reception was infused with stunning florals and tablescapes. We know the food is usually most talked about during weddings, but we really want to highlight their cakes. Kristianne’s bridal cake had pink cacti outlined on the white frosting! It’s one of those little details that you just know is important to the couple and, Sweet Treets Bakery absolutely nailed it! But the fun doesn’t stop there – Joshua’s groom’s cake is an exact replica of their dog, and all our office pup-lovers most definitely saved this to their wedding Pinterest boards. Plush Party Band covered the entertainment for the night, and we wish we could have been there to see this party. Kristianne can recall her favorite wedding memory like it was yesterday: “My favorite wedding day memory was our ceremony. Walking down the aisle with my father by my side to see my groom waiting for me at the end and saying our vows is something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.”
