Rustic Austin Wedding | Gabrielle + Dustin

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Gabby and Dustin met as freshman at Florida State University in the fall of 2009 and made an instant connection. Gabby was on the Golden Girls dance team and Dustin played FSU football.

PERFECT PROPOSAL: It didn’t take long for the two to realize they were meant to be, and many hangouts later, Dustin proposed to Gabby on the 50-yard line of Doak Campbell Stadium – the same place he asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course, she said yes!

GET HER LOOK: Gabby wore an A-line Watters gown with an illusion neckline and plunging back featuring Carina lace, covered buttons, double-faced satin ribbon at the waist and a sweep train.

SPECIAL TOUCHES: Dustin’s father made the benches that ran the length of the farm tables at the reception, and a family friend designed the floral arrangements.

SPECIAL TRADITIONS: After the marriage ceremony, the couple held a foot washing ceremony with their family and best friends – just as Jesus washed his disciples’ feet to symbolize putting others before oneself.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The couple’s most memorable moment was right after the exit when they hopped into their getaway car and it was just the two of them. It was such a surreal moment realizing they were Mr. and Mrs. They couldn’t help but smile as they soaked it all in.
