There is something special about a love that is timeless, and this wedding captured exactly that! Samantha and Chris combined the elegance of the 1920’s and a modern glam vibe in an effortless way. The bride has always had a love for the roaring twenties era; therefore, she knew that she wanted to incorporate details that would remind her of the classiness of that time. Her a&bé bridal shop Austin gown displayed small sequins and beads throughout dress which worked perfectly with the groom’s velvet forest green jacket. This vintage feel meshed well with the modern gold decor incorporated on the tablescapes and throughout the venue. Along with the couple having a clear vision of what this day would entail, they needed a venue that helped match their modern roaring twenties feel. Once seeing the outdoor layout and the 1916 villa styled building of the Laguna Gloria, Samantha and Chris knew that they found their perfect place to say, “I do.” From one long running table full of candles, intricate place settings, and moody gin and tonic bar, each detail carefully complemented one another throughout the night. In other words, Samantha and Chris’ whole wedding day left us swooning!
Samantha and Chris met for the first time at a concert, and started to get to know each soon after that. Throughout dating, the couple spent a time together attending concerts and music festivals for their favorite artists and bands. It’s safe to say that dancing away to the sounds of their favorite music was a must on their wedding night! Samantha and Chris agreed that one of the most special parts of the night was seeing all of their favorite people in one place together. Nikk Nguyen captured the raw, genuine moments night in a beautiful way that the couple will cherish forever. The night may be over, but a timeless love that the couple shares for each other will last a lifetime. Cheers to the Powers!

From the bride on her most helpful vendor: “Our photographer, Nikk Nguyen, was able to capture our love so beautifully and authentically, and we are so grateful that he was able to document our big day. Nikk’s work has a moody and romantic style which is what drew us to him when we started searching for photographers almost a year before our wedding. Not only is his style unique, he captures those raw, unfiltered moments that really encapsulate a wedding day vs. focusing on more staged, forced moments.”
