SWEET BEGINNINGS: Lee and Kevin were both asked to play in a co-ed slow-pitch softball tournament, and the rest is history!

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Kevin carried the ring around all weekend on their trip to San Francisco and Napa waiting for the right time to ask. On the last night of the trip, he bought a bottle of champagne and asked Lee if she wanted to have a glass with him on the rooftop deck of their condo. Kevin then asked Lee if she was going to marry him someday. Lee responded by saying, “If you ever get a ring and ask me for real.” Kevin then surprised her with what she had been asking for – a ring and a proposal. She had no idea it was coming!

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet by STEMS Floral Design & Productions of deep red garden roses, white peonies, peach Juliet garden roses, soft pink garden roses, burgundy scabiosa, and bright peach ranunculus, with bay laurel, gardenia, and jasmine vine foliage. The stems were wrapped in lush emerald green velvet ribbon.

HUES SHE USED: The bride and groom wanted something unique, which ended up being difficult to pull off! Emerald and peach were hard hues to master, but by incorporating some burgundy and different shades, they were able to beautifully blend their chosen color palette.

SAVORY SWEETS: Lee and Kevin loved their cake! Lee wanted a lot of flowers so they chose Love Birds Sweets to design their cake specifically for her sugar flower work and, of course, for the amazing taste!

VENDOR LOVE: STEMS Floral Design & Productions went above and beyond to ensure that Lee and Kevin had the perfect floral arrangements down to the smallest detail. Everything was personalized and thoughtful. Ruth was amazing!
