Thanks to their love for retail, Morgan and Alex met while working together at Nordstrom. Morgan managed Men’s Clothing and Alex had been a top seller and stylist. After working together for some time, their friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.

Morgan is a huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy so she convinced Alex to become a fan and watch the entire series from start to finish. One of her favorite episodes is where one character builds their dream house out of a number of candles. So with the help of his future groomsmen, Alex built a message out of candles on the Lady Bird Lake trail. The message said, “Will you marry me?” To make the proposal even sweeter, the couple’s son was wearing an embroidered onesie that said, “Will you marry daddy?”
