This modern tropical wedding looks like a styled shoot, but rest assured! This was, in fact, a real wedding, and we are totally here for it. Mekenzie House and Mitch McIntire’s tropical modern wedding took place in August, but thanks to a little afternoon storm, the temperature dropped and provided perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony at Villa Antonia. The palm leaves gave a tropical touch which paired beautifully with the modern decor pieces from Loot Rentals and Party at the Moontower Event Rentals. From the catering and bartending by Austin Catering to the modern four tiered wedding cake from Sweet Treets Bakery, everything about the McIntire’s reception looked decadent! We hope this wedding takes you somewhere sunny and warm (with a cocktail in hand, of course), just like it did us!

From the bride: “A few weeks before the wedding, my cousin told us to pause a few times throughout the wedding day to just take in everything that was happening and really appreciate it – especially right after you’re pronounced husband and wife and you’re about to walk back down the aisle. Doing this was so important and really helped us feel like we were soaking up everything little detail from the day.”
